About the test
Health Canada requires licensed producers to test each batch or lot of cannabis for potency, and report the total Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD) on the packaging and to their customers. The potency and cannabinoid test uses High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), following CARO Analytical Services’ proprietary potency method.
We test for 16 cannabinoid compounds, as well as provide you with the total THC and CBD concentrations in your dried flower, edible or oil/concentrate product.
